Periodical Description

R.A. Planbook 		The R.A. Planbook
helps you plan and organize events. It has many helps such as planning your budget and calendar for the year, promote events, plan chapter meetings, helps you with record keeping on the awards and personal growth plan. It will explain step by step how the Royal Ambassador program works and more. The Planbook will be available online Julu 1,2006 at www.royalambassadors.org .

Starter Kit
The Royal Ambassador Starter Kit helps new R.A. leaders starting up R.A. programs for the first time in the church. It also strengthens the new R.A. programs in many ways. It has all the registration forms, videos, mailers, and other helps to make the R.A. program easier to keep it organized.

Lad & Crusader
Magazines
The Lad and Crusader Magazines are quartley periodicals that have stories of real missionaries appointed by the Home Mission Board or Foreign Mission Board to go out and do God's work in many ways. It tells what the missionaries occupation is and how they use it as a missionary on the mission field. Also, it talks about the country and cultures the missionaries are in.

Also, the magazines have games, ideas, and activities for the boys to do that are counted towards advancement requirements in the "Advancement Program."(Discussed later)

Magazines:
Leader's Edition 		The Lad and Crusader Magazine(Leader's Edition) is a monthly periodical that gives the leader(s) a help preparing for the next chapter meeting and what material are needed to order or get for the next time. It also has a break-down of the eight parts of the chapter meeting in conjunction with the Lad and Crusader Magazines.

Royal Ambassadors
(Manual)
Leading Royal Ambassadors (Manual) shows how to start R.A.'s from the ground up. It has helps, insights, and other valuable F.Y.I.'s to add that that extra touch that will make the program go a little bit further. Also, it shows you how to maintain your program to keep it going.


Sons
of
Virtue
Sons of Virtue is for the small group setting for the home for the fathers and sons. It has a 10 week plan , like the Royal Ambassador chapter meeting. Instead of your basic material, there is a C.D. as a guide. In this world today, we know ungodly influences are all around that will is destroy any relationship. This packet will help strenghten and guide father and son together in the areas of missions, relationships, and Godly lifestyle.

Brotherhood
Campcraft Book

The Brotherhood Campcraft Book is used to prepare and to teach campcraft skills in a class or an outdoor setting. It has pictures detailed for anyone to learn from. In the book, it has a step-by-step directions to teach yourself and others from tieing knots, building camp fires, to packing a backpack. What makes this book have a different twist from the others; The boys can use it to learn from, also. This campcraft book goes along with the Lad and Crusader Campcraft Workbook.

The topics [chapters] it covers are: Trip Planning, Equipment and Shelter, Ropecraft, Toolcraft, Firecraft, First Aid, Safety and Sanitation, Map and Compass, Nature Study, Conservation, and Fun and Worship.

Lad and Crusader
Campcraft Workbooks

The Lad and Crusader Campcraft Workbook is designed for grades 1-6. The Lad Workbook is for grade 1-3 (Lad 1,2,3)and the Crusader Workbooks is for grades 4-6 (Page, Squire and Knight). These two workbooks have fill-in-the blanks, how-to's, and step-by-step instruction for the boys to go by. These books are designed to match the degree of difficulty is not to over bearing but easy enough to follow with and without assistance according to the level of conprehension on the individual boy.

The Brotherhood goes along-side these two workbooks as a teaching tool and a help for the boys to learn.

The virtues are found the Royal Ambassadors Pledge. At this time of their life, learning to read is very important and it helps them with their reading skills.

Annual Resource Kit

This Annual Resource Kit has the R.A. mottoes, pleges,emblems, promotional posters, prayer maps for missionaries, videos, and alot more. All the material will help strengthen and improve exhisting R.A. programs in the church. (This supplemental resource is dated material.)

Activity Ideas
for Lad and Crusaders 		The Ideas for Lad and Crusaders is for the leader that runs out of ideas when it is time to plan for activities in the chapter meeting and outside on a field trip or on the church property. The activities are written for the different age levels. So, there is no conflict of age difference. These two periodicals have been around for along and they have proved the test of time.
Note:The "Ideas for Lads and Crusaders" booklet hasn't changed. The covers have been changed. The material inside has remained the same. This booklet will be change and updated in the future into one booklet.

Misssion Games
and Activities

These two periodicals have been around for awhile and have stood the test of time, too. With the theme in the games and activities, you can use it in your time of missions.

The Mission Games and Activities for Children Grades 1-6 is used to plan games and activities for grades 1-6. There is no missions emphasis written in them [per sae], but it is a good resource when ideas are exhausted. The levels of difficulty is seperated by grade to help make planning easier. This periodical isn't restricted to R.A.'s, it can be used in a Sunday School class setting, also.

The Misssions Activities for Men and Boys is for both age groups. The leaders can use it to plan a mission actiivity for their R.A. chapter or with other men in the Brotherhood or other related mission emphasis program in the church for the men.
