You will need to go on two overnight campouts to show all the skills you've learned and keep a trip log. After each trip, you will need to discuss the good and bad points to make the next campout better.

You will have to know how to select the proper equipment to to go on an overnight campout. Show how to select, set-up, and practice "No Trace Camping" at your camp site. You will need to set up a tent, make something that can be used on a campout, such as a lean-to, spatula, fishing line,
etc. Also, you will learn how to maintain and keep camping equipment in good repair for the next camp out.

You will learn how to lash two ways of how to lash. (You can make a seat, a table, lean-to, etc., if you know how to lash correctly.) Also, you will learn three different kind of material that makes rope and the characteristics of the different materials.

You will learn what tools is necessary to take and use on an overnight campout and how to take care of them. You will need how to select, use, and take care of a sheath knife. Also, you need to know how to make some kind of cooking utensil to use on a camp out.

You will need to know how to build a "Trench Fire", maintain it and put it out properly. Also, you will need to know how to set-up, operate, and take care of one type of camp stove.

You will to know how to plan and cook a meal outdoors.

|
You will need to know what is to go into a first aid kit. Also, will have to know to treat someone that has been exposed to poisonous plants such as,
Poison Oak, Sumac and other poisonous plants in your area.

You need to to build a latrine on a campout the correct way. You will need to know what to do if you are lost on a campout. You will need to know two
poisonous plants in your area. Also, show the camping skills of a Woodsman.

You will need to know how to use a map and compass to make a sketch of your area. Also, you will need to know how to use the stars find your directions.

|
Find a good resource to help you make a collection of nature in your area. Label what is in your nature collection or draw what you find in your area.
|
|
Come up with a conservation project that would help where you live. (Association, community, or church) Learn what your state or forestry service is doing to help with conservation efforts.
|
|
Teach your chapter a game to use outdoors. Plan an event such as, camp fire activity, songs stories, skit, or worship for the use of your chapter.
